LGBTQ News. Now.: Nigeria's House Of Representatives Passes Anti-Gay Marriage Bill

The Nigerian government passed a bill today, banning gay marriage and outlawing any individual from forming clubs and organizations in which support gay rights. It is said, that any offenders will receive up to 14 years in prison if they violate these regulations. The bill is waiting for approval from President Goodluck Jonathan, who has not yet made any comments concerning this bill. This is sad news, considering the fact that the United States and other countries throughout the world have legalized same-sex marriage. Let it be know; the LGBTQ community and it its allies, still have much work to do in order to reach full equality for all. To read the full story, click here.
